Informations about the Grandstands!

For those of you who want to see up close the Samba School’s parade and are on a tight budget, the Bookers International gives a hint: the grandstands! These seats are the cheapest tickets available: there are options starting from U$88!

There are 13 sectors at the Sambadrome. The first one is at the very beginning of Sapucai, and it is intended for communities’ schools. From the second sector on, the seats are for the general public paying.

The grandstands don’t have marked places , with the exception of sector 9, which offers not only numbered seats, but also special assistance to tourists. For those who enjoy Carnival and didn’t bought sector 9 tickets, we recommend you to arrive early to choose where to sit. That area is made of cement and has no chairs, but it has a beautiful scenario: it provides the highest most privileged view of the parade!
